Stolen scooter - Wellington (11 April)

Posting this on behalf of a work colleague .

Silver 2006 Yamaha CV50. Registration No. 53YHQ.
Stolen on the morning of April 10th, from Christenson Lane which is behind the KPMG Centre on Victoria St

It wasn't insured, so he's a little pissed off about it.

I have decided to keep a list of stolen VIN numbers in my workshop in case the bike ever shows up here for work. Can you let me know the VIN number - I'll keep it noted. You would think there would be a web site you could check on... anyone know of one ?

we have had 3 scooters and non of them have had vin numbers, no frame numbers or anything! suzuki shitter qt50's and a korean made Ssangyong one.
