Now to try an scam a ride on one of these at a trackday.
No....but it's the same old argument really. While the MV surely is sex on wheels....if I had a K7 and spent the extra dosh an MV costs on the K7....I'd suck it's headlights out on the way past.

    Try one mate....you'll be convinced.
Did I read it right, this is based on riding it in the inner-city streets of Wellington?

    Not trying to stir.

No. Sounds fabulous though. If I ever sprout a deathwish, you'll be the first to know

    Not at all mate.
Alexandra Rd on Mt Vic at 3.30pm is totally empty 'bar' the odd school girl.
Pity it wasn't hot and sunny.
They held a timed sprint race there years ago, and it's a grouse wee piece of road away from all traffic. Bumpy, cambered with a nice mix of corners.
Try it....from the Newtown side to the top and get back to me.

Come in and see me if you like...use the K7 for your 'trip'!

For some...a 250. Others a 600...and some a 750. But if you're good enough to ride a litre bike as it should be ridden...then no other litre bike I've ridden comes close.
    Try a turbo charged R1

Pah! At least they handle. Try a turbo charged Z1R for kicks mate!
I had one for years that we eventually got sorted with water and methanol injection at 1075cc running 20 lbs of boost.
35mm forks...cable operated brakes and no frame bracing.
And I've still got all of my own limbs.

Yeah think I know it. The one that runs to (nearly) the summit of Mt Vic? Too many blind corners for me I seem to remember. Used to go up there on my 250.

So... when do us mere mortals get to try the sucker out?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

It runs all the way to the summit if you take a left! There's as many open corners as there are blind corners....some fast...some not so fast...and some really quite fast!

So how much luggage can it hold, and is there a grab handle for one's missus?

    Are heated handgrips available ex-factory?
