From there it is a dootle to Kopu and a merry wootle back to Dorkland via Kaiaua/Clevedon. I have found my plans for my pootle around the lower north island in disarray due to family commitments. I will have to settle for a shorter one on Saturday.

Beginning at 6.30am... riding through SH22 and zipping across from Glen Murray to Rangiri and do through to Ngaruawahia and across Gordonton and hooking up to Te Aroha!

Around 300km as the crow flies *sigh* not the length I would like, but I think it will have to do

Anyone mad enough to join me? It won't be ridden at excessive speeds and will be plenty of stops!
Hey GIJOE, what time do you expect to arrive in Ngaruawahia? Is it this Saturday that the ride is happening? If I'm awake when you pass through Ngaruawahia, I, and perhaps a few other Hamilton bikers might come along for a bit of a um...... you call it a 'pootle'?

Fork seals could be fun, I have some chores to complete in the morn, and a shed to build... will have to see how it goes.

Hoping to try and have a stab at putting this alarm in Rosey tomorrow, but frankly it's scaring the hell out of me...

Hopefully i'll be going riding tommorrow so if I'm in your area i'll text you and pay you a visit. Not that I can be any help in installing the alarm mind you but I can point at stuff and offer useless advice

Nifty... I'm up and about quite early, so whenever you pootle this way, feel free to drop in...

I'm getting the same alarm on the 2nd shipment so if you wanna wait we can freak out together ?
And you should wait till after 6pm to do the fork seals, so I can come watch!!

They do, but I'm also modding the alarm to go off whenever something gay comes within a 5 metre radius of it.

    ....like, say, a Honda.

*ooOOooh* We must be growing, we're no longer accepting everything.. we're slowly moving onto insulting bikes! Ahhh the road to a full licence hehe..

To continue the banter - your bike couldn't get within 5 metres of mine... maybe 5 km if you were lucky and I slowed down... rugby, lion red, grrr, grrrr

Shit, I thought my 2 boys had leapt out of bed and started posting!

...then I realised their posts would have been more civilised

Mat, what time are you working tomorrow?

I'm going to be home all day, feel free to pop over, we can stare at the instructions and make 'hmmm' and 'tut' sounds whilst looking all blokey and knowledgeable.

...until we con someone into showing us how it's actually done...
