I looked at this site a while ago. They didnt use to accept international orders for credit fraud reasons. Then the other month i looked again and they now do international! yay(a bit late for me). From the looks of it they are good, but you will probably find that there aren't too many people who have used them here.
Some of those clearance prices are absolutely insane! especially with the exchange rate the way it is at the moment.
And with the dollar at .74, even more reason to buy from the US. They have stock too.
ohhh no... why did you post that link up...
Shift Blowouts Blowout Brawler Leather Gloves for NZ$40.85

Is buying over the net via credit card recommended?

So far, touch wood, no problem. Actually your card details can be at greater risk in a local restaurant than on the 'Net.

I'm looking for a particular Shift jacket for the lady and I was having trouble finding many sites in the States which would ship to NZ. Can someone please name a couple of sites that will ship to New Zealand. Cheers.

Apart from the risks of internet purchasing be aware that import charges, duty, GST may be payable. There are also tax free value minimums!
Check out the details here http://www.customs.govt.nz/nr/rdonly...actsheet28.pdf
And having the seller claim the goods are worth less than the purchase price is not a good idea. The guys and girls at Customs are pretty switched on and have seen it all before.
I've purchased plenty via Ebay and haven't been taxed but have lost money on wayward shipments not arriving. Best of luck on your dealings
Mrs KD got her Shift Jacket here as it was not available in NZ. Great service, great price.
Over the years, I've bought heaps of fishing gear with no problems. Sometimes the shipping costs are high as they charge 20% for surface postage. So, if it's a small, costly item, like a game reel, the shipping can be overly high.
If you know someone in the States who you can have it delivered to then get them to re-label it, post it to NZ, then this can save a heap!
Never been asked to pay duty.

I order airsoft guns from overseas all the time. Technically, there is GST on anything you import BUT most often they don't ask you to pay GST unless the valued worth of the contents of the package is worth $400 NZD or more. Then they ask you to pay before delivery. In some cases you wont even get a letter or phone call asking you to pay. It just won't arrive and you'll be thinking "WTF?" and make some phone calls and THEN discover they want money.
As for payment, I like to use Paypal. I reckon its safer then directly using a credit card.
