Cheers to everyone who had a hand in organising tonight's ride/practice.
Good to meet all those who attended.
Was awesome to get advice and feedback, makes me wish I could attend more often but alas...
(and yes, I'm the one with the "sewing machine")
Good to hear you took something from it!
Great to meet some new faces and see everyone again![]()

Big thanks to Macktheknife, Big Dog and Crashe for your time! It is very much appreciated!
I certainly took alot away from this evening, and made me look at my own riding diferently from last week.. which was again diferent from the week before etc etc! When you seen others improving and yourself improving its a great feeling!

I have a suggestion.
Considering next wednesday is a national holiday - how many people have commitments that day?
Im thinking we could move the ride to earlier in the day..mmm... daylight...

Maybe a small day trip somewhere....
Could do the Kawakawa bay loop.
Or take a run up 16 to Wellsford and back.
Nothing too over the top.But something with lots of twisties hehehe

Well if the weather is good, we should go for a bit of a ride to put our newly learned skills into practise...countersteering etc.
Maybe do a ride up to Puhoi pub?? Good roads, easy and not too far away. And theres other bikers there too...always good to have a yarn..
Or out east for a change? Go to Kaiaua for lunch? Its a very popular biker route.

Indeed and im not a mentor. I am an individual. I ride my own ride. I learn from my mistakes and others can learn from my mistakes too. As some of us dont necessarily have the experience (although ive been riding longer than a lot of people of bigger bikes) I help people how i can.
Lets not get too anal and serious about this whole thing as it will soon defeat the object why we ride - for the fun and thrill.
