F2B i am going to have to put more thought into my posts i think lol or stop replying to this dribble lol... had a great wee solo ride into town this avo, bloody bike cut out on me at the caversham 80k zone thought i had caught your bug flicked to reserve thinkin bike was out of gas came to a stop eventually got her going and offski went to fill up at G/Island scratching my head thinking shit i have done bugger all k's on this tank and it only took $5 to fill lol could have flicked my run switch i dunno lol... just one of those moments i guess also called into MCR to fill up oil and "doh" Rick checked bike and triumphantly delcared "It's Full!!" so must have been my day lol.... could have sworn it was only 1/4 glass when i checked and YES guys i stood bike up to check didn't leave it on the stand !!!

On a serious note:
great to see you out and about on yah bike, the more you ride it the more you become part of it, i mean will know the glitches, how many kms to a tank, getting to know the buttons and switchs etc... getting to know its quirks (hehehe when I first got the vtr I use to toot the horn when I was indicating... wrong button)

Anyway ride baby ride... (oh thats just a t-shirt I got in the states from riding all the roller coasters) but have fun see you on the next ride.

Anyway I can probably go for a ride both days this weekend...

well back down to a different latitude its rather chilly in the evenings! So wrapped up in extra gloves/balaclava and other warmy stuff and took the bike out to clear out the cobwebs.. (i didn't find any but had to make sure there were none where i hadn't looked) so went for a nice blat along out to aramoana. LOOOVE those corners!
Coming back saw 3 guys/gals going out, we nodded at each other
Continuing my hunt for new tires... getting sick of the bike shops not getting back to me. People here seem to have some favorable reviews with the avon line, might have to have a look at those as well.

As for aussie... well that was fantastic, sooo warm, lots to do a see, lots of people to meet.... spent alot of time wishing i had a bike when heading through the country and over hills like the waterfall highway... saw a couple of bikes going the other way and was drooooling.

some of us have to work for a living you know . but i did have the afternoon off as my boys had a under15 Otago hockey trial and both got in to the team so they are off to napier next school hols so now its ..fundrasing time again anybody want to sponser a boy , it costs $250 but you get your name on a team hoodie....please

Did a rough check from a job I was doing today at the top of the Devils staircase inland from Raes Junction - about 35km from there back to Lawrence so the loop from Lawrence should be around 100km. So you and Free2b won't have any problem with range if you fill in Milton.

I don't think I'll bother responding to some of the other remarks on here.

The ride I'm talking about is on Sunday - aim to get to Lawrence about 11:30? so lets meet up in Milton around 11am outside/opposite the Southern Milk Bar at.......wait for it....... drum roll................ the SOUTH end of town.
