I'm hoping to do the ride up for lunch from Auckland wednesday morning then up to Whangarei after lunch hopefully catching a bed there before heading north on thursday.
Anyone want to talk shit & drink wiskey?

Ill be going on the ride on Wednesday (Anzac Day) If no one else has a spare bed for you, we do, wont be drinking wiskey tho, speights mate

Weather permitting ill also be there can do with a decent group ride .. Done the matapori ..hikurangi .. old russel rd .. opua .. Back to whanagrei yesterday .. Not bad and awsome weather.

i thought old russel road was closed due to the road washing away in the floods?

Yep roads Are Slipped away .. But Heaps of room for ma bike and where its really slipped they have made alternative route via persons Drive ways and ajoining land .. So all in all was a good ride and a Sedate pace
