Sex is good for stress relief!

We find sex is a great stress reliever, we get stressed a lot.................but age is taking it's toll and that too stresses us even more.

So the older we get the more stressed we get, the more stressed we get the more sex we need to settle us down, the sex is slowing down due to age thing and we find that stressful too.

This whole stress thing is taking it's toll on our sex life damn it, we are almost down to once a day now and that's stressing us both out!

I think we are gunna need help soon! Cheers, Oldriders. (Hey,anyone know a cure for a twitch)

Play trumpet until I've run out of Miles Davis transcriptions to play. Then I move onto Coltrane. If I'm really upset I'll try playing some Charlie Parker. Key word being `try'.

I write, too, although I seem to be doing it less and less these days. When I was at school, at least people would end up playing what I wrote, but now it just stays on paper. Plus, the more weird music I'm exposed to at uni (well, I Sibelius' modern-er period isn't that weird) the more nobody can make any sense of what I write which stresses me out even more.

Riding, of course... but I'm still at the stage where I can have quite a few heart-pounding scary moments on a ride without anyone else involved, so that doesn't always help.

Holding girlfriend's hand always seems to work somehow

Possibly doing the latter while riding causes the former?????

    Several things work for me..

    1. Play drums
    2. Work on the bike
    3. Clean the bike
    4. Ride the bike
    5. Build something/do something constructive
    6. Call a good mate, have a few beers and talk about it

Many more but these are my main stress/anger releifs. They work for me

As the type of person you are, what do you do to get yourself into a clear frame of mind after the last person you dealt with left you with a feeling of disembowling them, self doubt or any other unhealthy emotion?

I guess considering I asked, I better go first aye. Well, I tend to turn up my music loud and read a book. Failing that, I take the Ipod, turn the volume up till it hurts and go for a walk, run or bike ride. I used to beat the shit out of a punching bag in the garage, but the person who I was borrowing it off took it back. As a small child I used to burn stuff with the magnifiing glass.

Apparently getting out the guns and cleaning them whilst muttering under your breath is not a good way to deal with stress.

    So, have at it....
Caffene, gurana(sp). Now that I have had my spinal cord injury I find that these legal substances do amazing things to me. A "V" used to only last about 20 minutes but now the buzz lasts about 2 hours at least. So when I'm feeling like it I have a double shot capachino and follow it up quickly with a "V" drink. Luckily for me I have a catheter bag now so I do not have to rush to the dunny any more. BTW, anyone watching last nights Super 14 match would have seen this ugly as feck Hurricanes supporter in a wheelchair waving a flag and shit. Bugger me, it was me and I missed it each time. Must have been the wanker crapsader fans behind me throwing shit at me. Dumb arses kept missing and hitting the crapsaders supporters in frount of me, ironic I know...

Too much of that "V" and it will be the "ugly as feck" Hurricanes supporter batting all the Crapsader supporters with the wheelchair he is waving instead of the flag!

"V" does that to Hurricanes supporters so I have heard. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself. Cheers John.

I bake and cook. Kneading dough and cutting up veges helps relieve the stress, especially if you imagine the person who pissed you off is the dough or vege.
And best of all you get to share all that yummy food with your loved ones when your finished. Helps me clear my head, but can cause stress through expanding waistline.

    I cycle.

Such as one time last year when I found out this girl left me, the first thing I did was get up, change into my cycling kit, hop on my bike, and start cycling.

Felt sweet after that, even just the act of changing into my cycling gear was already cheering up myself by that point.

Heh, actually I did that at least twice last year with breaking off from girls. With another girl I went for a bike ride straight after what I felt (at the time) might be my last ever time seeing her.

So yeah, cycling is the cure for everything! If only you could bottle that stuff up, you would find it is the cure for cancer!

I miss my punching bag, also what is the deal with boxing clubs looking at you strange when you want to sign up, not ever attend training or matches but you turn up everyday and beat the shit out of the bag?????
