Me too. First and only IQ test I've ever done - true story. Possibly means a slightly lower score than I'd otherwise have got. When that program was on TV... "Test the Nation", I made a point of not watching it. Never really wanted to do an IQ test either, have always avoided them in the past. Interesting... but irrelevant. My old man is intelligent but would have an awful result due to dislexia.

Still, the site said I was "gifted", so I'll take that.

Remember the movie Forest Gump where his mother takes him to enroll in a new school however his IQ test comes back showing he is below the entry requirement. So his mother fucks the principle.

Would you, my esteemed biker comrades, call that a show of intelligence, desperation, or just plain sluty?

138 - much the same as that bloody Test the Nation thing - fuck, I'm nothing special.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a result.

Comparing the shape of the poll response bar graph from 85 to 175 on this thread with the expected normal distribution of IQ measurements:

I think we can draw three conclusions:

    1. The test itself was a fairly representative measurement of whatever IQ is supposed to measure,

    2. Distribution amongst a sample of several dozen KB members follows the usual pattern in any population, and

    3. Either:

    (a) The IQTest.com website is skewing results upward by around 30 points, or

    (b) KB membership is, somehow, weighted toward the upper end of the scale in the context of the larger population. You would not expect to see IQ scores coming out above 150 until you'd covered at least a thousand respondents.

I'm going with (a), here. What a disappointment. Curiously, though, I am no longer tempted to give money to IQTest.com in return for further automated ego massaging...

this is wat Ixion said earlier
    - and i think you are prolly both right
and they think we'll be too full of ourselves to question the results
    it's fixed

    - cause there's no way i'm a ferkin genius .......especially with no little diagrams and pictures in the question mix - numerical logic AIN'T my strong point....

You scored about 100 on that test, right?

100 is supposed to be the peak of the curve. The average score, representative of a typical member of the population. And that, dear boy, was what you got.

Even on my most cynical days, I'm afraid that I can't bring myself to believe that New Zealand is quite that dumb.

    The test is definitely skewed.
