Doesn't sound like the best plan of attack. I'd expect to hear you binned it a 3rd time risking injury to you (bad) and damage to your bike (also bad).
Have you got an experienced rider who can come along and coach you through hill starts/riding up steep driveways?
Get used to riding the clutch at the point of tension and learn to pull away while riding the clutch.... use the same principle up gentle slopes then try the drive. In other words, build your confidence up gradually and get the technique right so it serves you in all situations... not just your driveway... hill-starts in busy traffic being the thing I would be concerned about here.
Remember the rear brake too, especially down-hill as a good control device. Gentle pressure on the rear is important during slow-speed riding. Always cover the clutch with your fingers under 30km/h.
Had.....he's buggering off to Welly....selfish bastard - how dare he!....I have had a few offers, but have decided to, as you have so rightly said.....

No longer buggering...now buggered...but you have all you need...you did all along...just click your heels together and say "I must harden the fuck up", "I must harden the fuck up"
If you get out there and just ride T, I cant wait for a months time when you wonder what all the fuss was about with the drive...you just gotta get out there. Ride slow and careful, but ride nonetheless and you will be amazed at your progress in these early stages I promise....perhaps you need a carrot dangled in front of your face to aid the cause....![]()
