    Greetings from Norway (The Viking)

    Hi all
Been member for a while but my naturel shyness has kept me from
    writing. I am a 50 year(soon) old biker from Norway.My daily
ride is a 97 Honda VFR750F,great bike? Other than that I collect old Japanece
bikes.Started to ride 2001 and so far have accumulated 11 bikes.I have bikes from 57 too 97.It,s Hondas,Meguro and Bridgestones, the oldest a Honda MF350 Dream. I been collecting all my life one thing or another. Is this something only men do?
The wife and I have planned to go to your lovely country next year.I would like to come in contact with people who collect and ride old Japanese bikes.
    Perhaps attend a rally?

So that was you? I thought I saw someone peeping from behind the curtains!
Welcome mate, you'll meet lots of weird and wonderful people and bikes.....by that I mean wonderful bikes and weird people....but if you've been watching a while you knew that already didn't you?
Oh yeah, when you come over can you bring a few of those gorgeous statuesque Nordic goddesses with you? The gene pool over here could do with a bit of a top up......

YAY!!! More Viking's on the site!

Welcome. Come over and help me (not that I need much help) conquer this land.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Welcome to Kiwibiker, I am sure you will find many people here who share your passion and will be happy to see you in person when you arrive.
Let us know closer to the time when you are going to be in which cities and some of us might even catch you up for a beer and a chat.

Greetings the viking.. now there is a bike I havent seen or heard of for many years, the honda dream, had a cobber in the late 60's who had a beautiful bright red full fairing one, performed very well too. they were about as rare then as a AJS600. NZ awaits your arrival, make sure you hire a bike to cruise through our summer..

Welcome to KB, and enjoy your trip to NZ!
There are rather a few scandinavians in these parts, I think you will find (the danes and swedes in particular tend to congregate around my mormor and morfar's place)
    My baby is a 1993 Kawasaki zzr250...
1993 probably doesn't really count as 'old' (seems a while ago to me though, is older than my sister :S),
    Have a great trip!

Welcome Erik...Norway has always intrigued me from when i was a kid. Heard a story about Goblin's not Vikings which is ironic cos we have a Goblin as a memeber but she aint that scary...PS: i know your name is not Erik it just seems to fit....
