    250-themed ride - All welcome - 20 May 2007

Easy paced Sunday run - we will split into groups based on ability and attendance. (I don't like riding in a group of more than 7 personally).

Unfortunately with littlies (at the babysitters) we can't commit to spending all day out on the road so the run will probably be between 200km and 300km.

Leaving at a reasonable time of day (for those of us nursing a Saturday night hangover).

We will meet at 10:30am BP Botany - corner of Ti Rakau and Chapel Road.

I'm no longer on a 250cc bike so all comers are welcome - if you're gonna hoon however please do it away from noobies and learners and the rest of us. Basically if you want to hoon I would suggest that you wouldn't enjoy the company or the ride.

    See you Sunday

Not as much support as I'd thought there'd be.

I'll wait until all the 250 riders are back from Uni/School then.....

Yup - we'll be taking it easy - I've only had my 600 for 3 weeks. Don't want to bin it yet coz the Italians charge a few bob for shipping fairings.

Never underestimate a 150 - this is the lesson I learned fanging the tits of my wife's RG150 - it's only about 10kph slower than the Ducati at full noise.

Sweet. I want somebody in the know to take a look at my brakes too.

I am damn certain they need something done, but I'm too poor at the moment to do anything about it.

It'll be sweepers more than twisties this run.

Speed is all relative - I don't expect us to ride in a big formation but we will wait at junctions to make sure we all get to the destination for some grub and to talk bike shite.

A good pace for 250s and people with bigger bikes they're not quite used to yet.
