I'm sure that was the same corner as last time. Last time your bike got badly munted. This time your bike looked pretty good and you sustained the damage.

Hope you make a full and rapid recovery my friend.

There was a Pink SV and a black Hyosung GT650 going round a corner, then they weren't going round the corner... was quite worried about Frosty cause he didn't get up... i think it was on like... turn 2 on the track 2 (first right-hander) on their 2nd lap... hey, is there something about the number 2? Can't quite remember what lap they were in, but it was either lap 2 or 3...

Haha, yeah... good effort at moving the bike away from Frosty, but I wouldn't exactly call it 'lifting the bike off him'... from where I was (above the pit garages), it looked like he just dragged the bike by the wheel for a metre and then left it alone...

Sorry to see you go down Frosty, and all of the others that the track played nasties with too. In all honesty Im surprised more didn't go down with the track feeling the way it did. Hope you have a super speedy recovery.

The track sure took it's toll of bikes and riders yesterday. Never seen 27 bikes go down in such a short space of time. Im sure that drizzle contained a mix of H2o and oil!

    Update

Well just got back from the horspiddle.

The story goes. Went to Taupo horspiddle and as a couple of others discovered their xray staff were on strike so he stayed there for observation as he had wacked his scone rather hard. Next stop Middlemore where they took xrays and said...thats not too good we will operate 10.30am tomorrow (thats this morning). BUT WAIT theres more. Suddenly the beuracracy kicked in and said he was outside the Middlemore catchment and would have to go to North Shore. So 6.30am this morning in a big white bus with flashy lights on the top off to Noreth Shore with arrival time of 7.30am.

I have just got back from North Shore where you guessed it! He is still in the A&E waiting room...12 hours later. No beds they say - Id like to no how come theres no beds when there is heaps of laundry. So it looks like he may be there for a few days.

He showed me the xrays and thats an impressive dislocation and I can understand how it would have hurt when they shoved that puppy back in place.

He also has a lovely crack . KIDDING alright he has a couple of cracked bones.

So the update is hes still waiting, waiting, waiting. And the irony is that today is a year to the day he tried to take the chain from the Taupo pits because he thought it would make a lovely necklace

I will go see him when hes had the op and give you all an update.

I was more worried about him hitting his head but head is fine and still attached to his shoulders. Thanks to those at the track that helped us out and for the well wishes.
Is he staying in for a while?

    Oh for fucks sake!

What kind of half-arsed system are they running up there!

At this rate the poor boy's going to be opiate-dependent before hes even been re-assessed.

Time for some of you Auckers boys to get down there and cause a bit of ruckus I reckon.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
