See? See why I want to make cyclist jousting legal?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Thumbs up

That was very good. Very good.

Loved the expressions on the car driver's face.

Of course, we all know that good, law-abiding cyclists wouldn't dream of doing any of the things that our cosmic trio depicted there were doing....

Much truth is said in the clip...............

We can ignore red traffic lights
    We can ride 3 abreast
We don't have to indicate our intentions
    We too are bio-degradeable...............

We are the future of 'Cagers'....

Yep. Too right you are there. The traffic light thing is the worst. Cyclists running red lights is the height of impatience and fuckwittedness. Almost on a par with the arsehole car drivers that think 45cms between my handlebars and their LHS mirror is enough space when passing...

If "you" are the cyclists, learn to get OFF your fucking bike and PUSH it across the pedestrian crossings like the law requires you to do!

I am gunning for you fuckers when you ride across the ped x-ings'.

I've cycled in big groups for 20 years
I've ridden a motorbike in big groups for one year.

I've witnessed more self righteousnes, biggotry and downright stupid dangerous behavious in one year on a motorbike than 20 on a pushie.

    Pot - kettle - black.
In space, no one can smell your fart.

We all have different experiences. After stuff I've witnessed cyclists do I think pushies should be banned from public roads.

I do my damnedest to stay away from big group motorcycle rides because of what you've said there though.

As far as the Pot Kettle Black thing. Not even close. Pushies can ride on the road when they have comprehensive vehicle insurance and pay rego and ACC fees. Until then they can get the mountain bike out stay off the road.

    Oh you'll love me.

If it's a really busy day, I'll wait at the pedestrian crossing for the cars to stop, then pull out onto the road.

Yawn. It's a fantastically small percentage of cyclists that don't also run a motor vehicle of one form or another...and as for the ACC levies, well I know more people that have injured themselves on an MTB than binning it on the road. Logic Jim2, logic.

Can one of the mods merge this with the other recent any-cyclist rant thread?

you dont need insurance to ride a motorbike.......

And you pay ACC through tax... vehicles just get to pay more.....

We've had one story on here of a motorcyclist writing his bike off trying to avoid a pushie doing a U-Turn on a blind corner in the middle of nowhere. There is absolutely no way to extract anything in the way of compensation from the pushie rider and the rider loses in many ways from potentially being charged to higher insurance premiums and a loss of no claims bonus. Cyclists always try to conveniently step around the results of accidents they cause by using the "I have another other vehicle and pay all those things on that" argument. When you are on your pushie you are a big fat economic and legal liability for other road users and a percentage of "experienced" cyclists ride in a seething undisciplined (from a Road Code perspective) mass practicing their race craft. If you don't believe me step off a curb at a an intersection in Wellington around lunch time during Summer and be prepared to get smacked up by a cyclist running a red.

That cartoon has encapsulated the "hardcore cyclist" attitude for me perfectly.

I'd MUCH rather that cyclists go hurt themselves on an MTB off road than ride on the road where they can blithely create big issues for other people and get away with it.
