Thats an understatement!! Although I dont want to put the GN down, its is good bike for ya dollar, but I just outgrew it quick.
Lets just say, cruising towards Martinborough today, and being able to pass cars quickly without the bike redlining was a great thrill for me today!! plus going down the takas without friggin locking up the back tyre was great too.
Take it off with your butt...
I mean by riding...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
all I have to say is.........GO THE RG!!![]()

Great days riding. Nice wee bike there Mel. Had heaps of fun hoping back on the 250 and screaming up and down and up and down the takas![]()

Now that I am wide awake and nobody in Carterton is stirring - thought I would type this......OH and i did my planning as well![]()
I decided to take out the RG150 yesterday as I hadnt ridden it for a while and while I was out on Wednesday Jens kept pinging me at the lights and zooming off SO I thought I wonder how fast I can get it.......I jumped on to meet Mel and Kinje, who I knew was on his 250 as well and I discovered I could lift both of my hands off the handle bars and wave them around like some kind of oddity! Can't do that on the Radian because the bars kinda shake and the speed stops as soon as there is no throttle SO that was fun and we took off to Martinborough.......for a coffee and a chat and Mel was great *poor her being told to harden up by Kinje and I*........he might not have said it but he was smiling when I said it so in my world it means he was agreeing![]()
Anyhow, we then decided to go up to the top of the Takas, Mel not that happy about it but Kinje and I didnt care and zoomed off HAHA........We all had something to think about while we were riding - I think Kinje was thinking about scraping his knees on corners, Mel was thinking about a steady speed and something else - i cant remember because I had something to think about - and that was my planning that I wasn't doing.
I had said that when I got to the top of the Taka's I would come down and go home but NO, we met Ronin and came down only to have my 150 STOLEN and zoomed UP the hill whilst the little muffler thingy was scraped on the ground HAHA.....I sedately took off on Ronin's bike which I admit was lovely to ride and just so balanced......Poor Mel had to go AGAIN HAHA
Then down again and off to Martinborough because we hadn't been there for about 2 hours and the cafe might have missed us and THEN......off to the gladdy for a belated lunch and a staggered ride Wairarapa Style! - which I must admit was a load of fun if you weren't Lissa HAHA
Anyhow, Lunch was delicious and I headed home to get some work done BUT when I got home my dog was all over the show so I bundled her into the car and went walkies and when we got back Jens was home so I couldnt plan and resigned myself to doing a 5amer - which I have done!
THERE!!.......
OH, and have a wonderful day all![]()
