    For sale: 1995 rs125

    This is a well sorted 1995 RS125 with a 1996 motor, it's been a realy fast bike which produces the same amount of power as the later bikes. I got 10th in this years nationals on it but it could do a lot better (got 5th last year), had all motor bearings etc replaced in December, Ohlins steering damper, just had new main bearings and crank seals, just had head machined and is running 10.5 cc (all motor work has been done by Steve Ward), rear shock was serviced in December also, new cables, spark plug, brake pads,cush drive rubbers etc. Good tyres that have only done 4 meetings
    comes with lots of spares...
    Wheels with wets (rear disc on these wheels also)
    full fairing set with brand new paintjob and screen
    Front and rear Stands
    Comprehensive jet kit, with 6 needles, 3 pilot jets and 15 main jets
    sprocket set
    reed block, reeds, new base gaskets, spark plugs ,footpegs, new head o rings etc

    Mmmmmm - in my colours too!

    All it needs is a few scratches down both sides to match my leathers.

    nah shit no!! just looking at a newer bike for this year I think, haven't decided what yet, but we'll see

    We need to keep the 125 Class alive, and prove to all the ignorant fools out there just how awsome these bikes are!!

    Yes very tru, I agree. Now that this pro twins thing is starting up I've heard "not everyone can afford to run a 125, so this is ideal" I think in reality the cost would be similar. Sure we change pistons etc lots, but when they do its very expensive! not to mention tyre costs etc etc. Good on you for being enthusiastic towards 125's, there are a few of us in 125's but we're all very passionate, thats what makes them so good

    Im still in the belief that 125s are the 'real' training ground for riders. SVs will make lazy racers..

    An 125s aint that expensive..

    I just bought a complete engine rebuild kit (and alot or extra parts.. reeds etc) That included a Crank, a piston kit, gearbox bearings, some new internal gear ratios, all for $600NZ landed!!

    That'll last me at least a year, and is probabaly less than the cost of a set of tyres on a SV...

    Rock on 125s!!

    RG150's are a frigging sight cheeper!!! ( and slower)

    Yes they are a lot cheaper, but parts for them are rediculous prices so just as well they dont need them as often!! not to mention my opinion of the powervalves
