    Girly Coffee Ride (10 June)

    Details as follows:

    Date: 10th June
    Meet: Botany Downs BP
    Time: 1pm
Route: To be confirmed but will be relatively short with a coffee stop in the middle and the option for more experienced riders to do a bigger ride at the end of the main ride if wanted.

    See you all there!

Edit: Well the weather is crap but I'll be at Botany BP at 1pm as planned if anyone is silly enough to join me.

Coffee is planned for here: http://www.logcabincafe.co.nz/ at about 2pm so if anyone would like to just join me for coffee feel free to drive over.

The aim of this ride was social anyway so what better way to spend a couple of hours than chatting about bikes over good coffeee somewhere warm and dry...

Forecast is looking good for this and I'll actually have a bike to ride - thanks Nuahn!

    See you all there!

Oh, if weather is bad, I will post on this thread by midday. It'd have to be snowing or something to cancel though...

All still go for tomorrow girls.

Will do a weather check in the morning.

As above, I'll be riding regardless of the weather - but not every one is as stupid as me...

Well congratulations to the 3 other hardy souls who turned up for todays ride:

    Imanoobie2
    Chickadee
    Crashe

We had an excellent ride out to Kawakawa Bay and back to the Log Cabin for coffee where we met Madduck, Maha Man, Mom, Jayracer37 and Sisterecho.

Nice steady pace on wet roads with a little bit of rain. Great riding by everybody.

Cheers Keystone for organising today's ride.....
Yep it was a nice ride...... nice company....

Got home and gave the bike a quick hose down.... the roadworks made the biker dirtier than it already was.

Thanks ladies and gents for an enjoyable afternoon. My 2nd time in the wet, not that it was raining hard, you've just got to be a bit more aware of white road markings/shiny road surface. Had a wee waggle on a tar snake on the way home , and fog in the helmet riding slow speed on gravel up the hill towards Howick wasn't fun , but made it home in one piece.

Always good to get out and ride, brush up on riding skills and enjoy good company.

Thanks for organising the ride Jill, and to Immanoobie2 and Crashe for riding today despite the wet weather.

Hope you got home safe and sound yall !
