    Thanks guys

Well, I managed to get through work today despite my marathon scribe session last night I'd rather have been riding, but it was a good day in the end. Bloody freezing though so I hope you all wrapped up well if you were out on the bikes!

The best thing though is that I now have another weeks leave (thank god for study breaks) which sounds as if it could be ideal for getting the next 870 or so break in miles done. Hmmm, that should be perfect for next weekend

I can't wait to show you all this bike and really looking forward to seeing Barry's one back to put side by side. And I hope that this new bike buying trend doesn't cause any bankruptcies lol.

Yep, I'm staying as 86. You know, first love and all

Hmmm, 230 at 9 is it. Ok, may have to find a closed private road then I do know of a runway too lol.

I'm really looking forward to getting em both out there Barry, I just hope the weather holds so I can get the 1000 miles done this week! Is your speedo in mph or kph?

    I can go to 5000 rpm until 300 miles completed, then 6000 from 300 - 600, 7000 from 600 -800, 8000 from 800 - 1000.

I'm only up to 130 miles now so it's going to take a few days.

It's really important to vary the engine speed during this period too, so I'm being super careful about that.

Bling! Yes, I'll have to check that out lol.

Cheers guys, this is an amazing machine. I'm just dying to spend some decent time with it, starting tomorrow. The build quality is top rate and it looks great from all angles. It's big too, but incredibly nimble. Can't wait to learn more about it! And I tell ya, running in a new bike properly is an experience I'm glad to be having!

Pity about your login Al. Looks nice and Al 'Daytona' sounds much more impressive.

Do Triumph riders still carry a quick rag for when you stop for a coffee??

Yeah, I'm definitely thinking about the indicators, and there will be more. By Christ though, the credit card's taken a hammering lately, but once she's run in - yeah!!!

There sure is. I was having a coffee in Bulls yesterday admiring it, when along comes an old boy who sits down beside me and proceeds to talk non stop for the next 15 mins. I like elderly people but I just had to get away in the end. Damn, it ruined my quiet time with that bike. Didn't last long tho, the next 50 miles were bloody magic!
