Reading the on-line literature from MNZ's recent AGM, it appears as if the 650 ProTwin is already an accepted National Class. The rules are on MNZ's website as proposed rules. Haven't seen any official announcements.
I'm guessing the class will be run concurrent to F3. There may also be 2 classes within the ProTwin class - under 20yrs, and over 20yrs - refer to Rules.
I'll be there for North Island races.

I think July 1st is the intro for this new class, so there is quite a bit of interest to get underway with it ASAP. Motorcycling Canterbury kicks off it's 7 round series at Levels on 21st July. So if a good number show their interest and turn up in F3, they will be independently scored and get trophies etc thru the 3 championships, King of Levels, King of Ruapuna and King of Canterbury.
I think the minimum number is 6 reqd in each round, so we're hoping there will be enough from day one, and it grows from there.

I was planning to run my SV at Levels and I know of 1 other guy from Dunedin who will be there. Both bikes would be "pro twins" class

I'll see how the class turns out long term and I'd need to have a go to see what it's like, but past experiences have told me how bad I am at riding SV's though!

The more I have learnt about setup.. the more I realise that thats probably all the handling problem was. At the time my riding wasn't very flexible either(I had trouble riding it fast) knowing what I know now, I think it would be a bit different. My weather forecasting has got a bit better now too so I'm hoping I've learnt from all the mistakes I made throughout nationals
