Buying gear in Wellington

am on my way to Wellington this weekend and having came into some money want to get some new gear plus a new neptune muffler but don't want to spend all day looking for it,

SO who do you buy your gear off? (shop and person)

and is anybody running any specials?

Go to TSS Motorcycles in Alicetown,Lower Hutt & ask for Kerry

Mike at Wellington Motorcycles I find is really good. But they can be pricey. I think he is parts but I get gear off him.

Could also try Martin at Motormart....TSS and motrmart are around the corner from each other..would pay to go to both as they stock different gear.

Another vote for TSS here....although I haven't dealt with Kerry.

If you know what you are looking for....ring around and get prices etc? You'd be hard pressed to get around all the bike shops in Welly/Hutt on Saturday as they aren't open all day.

TSS and Motomart have the biggest range of bike gear.

Check opening times and visit a couple of shops.

Wellington M/C's are good to deal with and you always get offered a coffee....

Another +1 for TSS and Kerry, although all the team there are pretty good. Saturdays are crazy in their shop, like Tokyo central train station - go early.

its Kerry m8, just look for the busiest guy in the shop... every1 asks for him.

I can do specials at the moment as we are clearing out stock, pants and Jacket Combo for $550..................just for your interest
Or a One piece for $450
Infact anything in stock is going cheap as we have new range coming in

TSS, Petone, Brenda and Kerry are blardy fantastic. They'll sort ya. And they have some really nice gear at the mo, a good selection of leathers.

Hey Fozz,
DIdn't know you were another biker in Napier.
However, if you are still looking for a jacket after the weekend then i might be able to help you out.

My foreman at work used to ride and bought a new cordura type jacket with all the zip in liners etc. But having sold the bike shortly after buying it and also having a full set of leathers he's looking to sell it off. Not sure on size, but he's going to bring it into work for me to have a look at. Let me know if you are interested.

Have you checked out the HB rides thread?? Leaves every sat at 1:30pm from bp taradale road. Newbies, experienced/everyone welcome
