Bike stolen TWICE in one night

Yes, I know it's been said already, but it's worth saying again.

    1. Lorax (he's my brother) leaves his bike disc-locked on the side of the road - in video cover of the Bulls police station about 10m away.
    2. Drunk scum try to load it into their car after midnight, but it's too heavy, they drop it on the road, abandon the attempt, drive off.
    3. Them and their car are caught on police video.
    4. A completely different person (a farmer) pulls up with a trailer, loads the bike in and drives off with it.
    5. Lorax discovers his bike has been stolen and reports it.
    6. The police call him later, saying a farmer has called them to say he'd picked up the bike by mistake - the farmer was supposed to pick up his son's completely different bike, parked in about the same area!

Confused? Hilarious! Stolen twice in one night! That's one incredibly unlucky bike.

Yes this is a repost, but I am so very amused by the story.

well i would say lucky mate .. at least the farmer realised it was the wrong bike & called the cops .. so it was prob more safer with farmer than being exposed to the scum who had tried to steal it earlier ..

it would have been trashed if it was left there anyhow

Sorta like a Monty Python sketch! No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

All's well that ends well no?

LMFAO!!! Thats a bloody classic alright. Glad to hear your bike didnt actually get knicked man.

    Alls well that ends well.

And at least you have a bloody good story to tell your grandkids one day
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I'd like to know what happened to the 'real' bike??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

That's Classic! I can imagine the look on the poor Dad's face when he found he had picked up the wrong bike
Great to hear that your bike is back and relatively unharmed after it's adventurous night out in Bulls
