Something reliable that will keep me intrigued for age so I don't have to go through the rigmoral with my wife of getting a new bike. Was wanting to spend no more that $4500.00. Looking at a 250 bandit suggestions please guys.

Steve555. How many threads have you started along the lines of "Which 250 should I buy?"

It would have been quicker if you had started one thread saying - I'd like to buy a 250 bike - I want to use it for x, y & z and anticipate an annual mileage of n.

    My budget is $f.

Go buy a used VTR250 and then upgrade to a Ducati when you get your full - this is the only advice I can give you coz it's what I did.

Ducati? can i ask you something? did the VTR need more servicing or parts amd labour than the Ducati?

    It didn't leak oil....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
