There were 3 photographers on the sweeper when I lost the front. I'll be mighty annoyed if none of them got a photo of it

Kyle, there's about 6 or 7 of you on that link that et al posted, along with most of the streetstock bikes. Looking very good btw!!

    None of me again though.

Gonna have to ask my pit bitch to take some for me at the next round or I'll have nothing to show my grandkids when I'm old and wrinkly!

Might sound like a stupid question but erm, how do you get your photo taken?

I competed in the one race at Taupo and all three races on Saturday but it seems not one photographer managed to get a shot of me. Erm, which is a little gutting cos I don't have a photo of my first ever motorbike race, or even my second.

I asked the photographer beforehand on Saturday to try and get one of me but it seems that they weren't able to manage this. Were there other photographers there other than the ones who posted up pics/links on this thread?

Erm, so how come that's happened? Does anyone know? It's kinda disappointing as I wanted to look at my riding style and where I am going wrong etc, and build up a portfolio which hopefully shows my improvements as I get more experience...

Meh. Sorry if this sounds like a moan. I just like pictures.

Im quite surpised that you didnt get a pic taken .
You could always go up to the photographer before hand and ask him specificly and im sure he will look out for u .

    .
Here's a novell idea: Why not check the photos you like from the trackside, then note who posted them, then try PM-ing them with something along the lines of:
"Hi, I'm no#_ _, could you please take my picture?"
D'ya think that might work, yeah?

Well I don't go to take photos of everyone, I'm just there for one or two dudes who ask me to go such as Deano/Whitetrash etc. However, if you see me at the track again with my camera gear (I don't always take it) come see me and I'll make sure I get a couple of shots of ya.
Superdukes. Serving up shame to sportsbikes since ages ago.

That's Jay Lawrence (JayRacer). We think he's decided that winning's too easy so he's going for Style Points with a high degree of difficulty. He was leading the race at the time, about 3 bike-lengths I think. He obviously added too much power, the back stepped out then bit hard and the high-side was the result.

Look at the slow-mo and see just how valuable the (compulsory) back protector is
