thanks to English checked out Betsy today she has been surging like she is getting fuel while trying to de-accelerate before she slows down .. its a wee bit disconcerning when your trying to engine brake & she is not slowing .. Also had an odd issue with throttle not retracting & the revs keep climbing (while your not touching it) ... finally it did this while U4ea & English were there .. Now someone knows what I mean ..

found that one of the needles inside the carb was not straight .. took her for a wee run & FARK ME .. talk about HEAPs of torque in the low gear .. GEZZZZZZZZ I have not had power like that before .. woo farken hooooo .. guess the good thing has been since she is a old girl ... fixing things as they happen she is running better & better each time .. & enables me to keep up with the new power

took her for a couple of runs around the block .. did not have the surging but will not be able to check that properly until I can get out on the open road ... & will need to get the idle sorted .. will need to replace the throttle cable since it does not have any more adjustment to it ..

Thanks English for checking her out, muchly appreciated .. & thanks U4ea for getting muh washing in & firewood, & ya company of course ...

Yep, and judging from the feedback, pretty reliable and not bad looking either! Will be good to see you on something new

meanstreak is orange. Yellow is not the "official" colour of the ashhurst boys... It is the mark we use to show the imports..........

Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....
