    1. What is this model like to use on the bike, say in the top sleeve of a tankbag.
    2. Does it have a limit to the NZ roads in its memory. Like could you plot up to Helensville up the western route, out to Port Waikato, down 22 ?

Yea u could mount it either to the dash like u do with radars or in a tank bag etc... both will work fine. it catches the satellite signal pretty easily, given NZ dosent hav its own satellite yet and relies on a revolving satellite.

No limit to nz roads as far as I know. you could plot any city/town on the map n it will give u the dtj, eta, total kms, best route etc without even have embarked on the trip, I found it v useful for planning out when I needed to refill my tank n when I didnt in order to save me time when travelling to welly n bak.

2 degrees and no idea how GPS works.......

no country has its own sats, there are at least 24 in medium orbits around the world, and you need signals from three to get a decent fix.

Not a bad price. The BDOTGNZA and the QRFs Angry midgets with sticks are worried about the langauge and spelling used in the ad....

Ahhh, PiN570, the last time I wrote SW for a PPC (desktop monkey now). Good little devices, still hold there own with the newer stuff (hey, I was one of 3 that had a part in writting it...got a soft spot for it)

    Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Pm sent disco. Also ive customised the "fitting components" to bolt on directly to a bike and compensated for vibrations etc also. As this was made for car use mainly and wont even fall off now. So u wont even have to buy a custom gps holder seperately. just find a place to mount the main holder then take ur gps off with a click of a button when u leave ur bike.

helped me heaps when i used to ride with the l33t crew on my 4hundy. helps on long rides as well when u have to break away from the pack.

As of yesterday, I am now the proud owner of one recycled DGDLD (DontGetDiscoLostDevice) ... I've been looking for one of these for a while now and thanks to YamahaR64Life, he's passed it on to me! W00t!

Just more excuses for me to go out and ride methinks ...

My little ol'hornet is going to end up blobbed out with all my perchance for gadgets!
