    FZX 250 Zeal

Hey my flatmates got one of the above and we can't find sh*t about bollocks for it. If anyone has the manual or just the bike itself can you give us an indication on jet sizes, needle and float height?

    Cheers

Best of luck with the search.

I owned a Zeal for a couple of years. I just let the workshop at Mt Eden MC handle my fettling and spannering, so I'm afraid I can't assist with your enquiry, but my congratulations to your flatmate on an excellent choice of motorcycle.

The Mighty Zeal is the best of the grey-import 250s, IMHO. Use this site's most excellent search facility to find out more than you could ever wish to know about this Prince of Bikes. Also they're unlikely to have been squidded out by some over-zealous wannabe MotoGP rider with a vacuum-cleaner-hose fetish.

Totally agree with that statement , love mine to bits!
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

    I love my Zeal!

I managed to find a PDF of the manual online a while back, I'll track it down when I get home.

TSS have two low mileage examples for sale at present. One of which has the lovely full-chrome exhaust system...

I came over all nostalgic like

We can each buy one and meet once in a while for a nostalgic zeal memorial ride...
