polly props. Surely a long sleeve poly and another shirt over the top with the liner should be warm enough correct? I just like the snug feeling and know nothing will be flapping around.

brrr, I dunno....
On a ride up near Taupo I was wearing three polypro tops, the liner, and a feather jacket (which compacted to zero thickness where there wasn't room, and expanded to fill all the space where there was room) and a horrible yellow raincoat over the jacket just because I was so cold.

I dunno, but the puddles were frozen solid, the inside of my tent fly was covered in ice, and the condensation of my breath had frozen on the front of my SLEEPING BAG!
Maybe minus five degC? At 100kph that's minus 32degC.
