Thanks, they were all taken on the Rimutaka's in November last year.

I had just got the camera so was having a little play to see what it could do.

A 60kph gravel sweeper at 1/40th of a second will do that
The gravel in the centre isn't blurry.

As for when the next comp opens, I have handed over the "intellectual property" on the idea of the photo competition thread to the Mods, they are discussing it in their special tinfoil-wrapped sealed section. In future it may be a once yearly thing, or a quarterly, or whatever they decide. It's too much to have a monthly one.

I'll put up the ten for voting... either this arvo if I can be bothered, or tomorrow.

I think one person (i.e. a non-mod) needs to own the photo competition. Why don't you want to run it anymore?

Realistically, what do the mods care if the competition fails to run? If that's the case it's one less thread for them to moderate. Just my 2c
