    Blah VFR400/CBR400/CBR600/CBR900/VTR1000 Brake discs!

I'm in need of some front brake discs for my vfr... The models listed in the title all have the same discs within different years, so if you happen to have some lying around or know of anybody who does, please do tell!

Let me know what you've got and I'm prepared to make you an offer, don't mind where you are or what you've got, just let me know!

PS - Must have decent thickness and be STRAIGHT!

    Cheers!

    Rob

PM or post up in here.

tyga performance parts- will cost you just over 300NZ all up for 2 discs brand new last time i checked.

absolute cheapest you will get for new discs.... even at econohonda last time i checked they were like 400 for second hand discs.

Many of his parts seem to be the same price as from Honda dealers here.
I checked the price of a speedo sender - worked out almost exactly the same as here (NZ$378), plus freight on top of that, which is more than three times the price of buying the exact same part from the US.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Have just bought some VTR1000 discs from trademe where a guy is dismantling the bike. They have 4.5 mil left to them and are apparently straight, so let's hope!

I'll update once I get them on the bike

Head to metalgear.com.au and find the vfr and then one of those bikes. Be sure to get the years right. It will tell you the part number, so if they match then it will fit.

Part number for the VFR is 20.016 from memory.

If you do i suggest finding the cause of the warping... Give the calipers a clean out for one. This is Rob's second set of straight disks

Yeah but to be fair, discs that are under min thickness would probably bend quite easily even if pistons aren't stuck, especially where pillions are involved. Jafa even mentioned that his new road vfr has started warping the discs!

But yep, cleaned mine out now so hopefully I'll have no trouble for a looooong time.
