Not sure what happened to my last post, but it seems to have failed. KB still has issues I think.

Edit: Ok it's sorted, but took about 5 minutes to show up.

If anyones bored and wants to come for a quiet play before the CDMTC bbq tonight, I'm headed to the Airport to practice a little skills, stoppies, wheelies etc. Nothing noisey, fast or obnoxious mind.

Added some more drift vids the the earlier post if anyones curious as to what its all about.

Did you change the fluid? Also, have you removed the pistons from the seals? Cause I thought that was a no no!
youd be surprised how much of a no no I get away with. blew the pistons out with an airgun. I dont see anything wrong with it as long as you don pinch the seals. When rekitting it you have to push the pistons past the seals so no real difference. As it turns out the seals are all mint. Yes, replaced the fluid. The brakes do work. There is just alot of travel in the lever and that upsets the more anal.

Long lever travel was the issue with mine too. Hopefully sorted now, but we'll see.

Tell me about it 2nd last wof on old bike, tester said lever has play, then HE rode and locked wheel up,nearly went over front, said to him new m/c and lines, just the feel as 20 yr bike,he said yep they work ok.But pissed me off at time,I knew they weren't 2 finger brakes, and liked a little play,at least if you grabbed them they worked which the dickhead found out when he nearly fell off.

fuck that. WOF guys dont get to get on the 9. last warrent they wanted to take it over the rollers. I told them I would do it. They agreed. Came really close to laying it on its side when I grabbed teh brake and the rollers stopped. Wasnt expecting it. Certainly dont see any good reason for them to ride the bike though.

Now that would have been embarrassing, laying the bike down while going nowhere, might have paid to see that and maybe get a photo or two

At the testicle station I usually got the same guy who let me do brake test, this time the new guy was doing wof,he picked out a small cut in brake hose fair enough, replaced it and he wanted to redo brake test himself,I said I'll do it but nope.Reason using testing station was station opened early morning so could usually arrive 7.25am and tested before leaving for work(30 minutes away).Oh joys of annual testing now.

Well one black S3 is all back together and everything seems to be mint with the brakes so far. Be good to get it out on the weekend!
