    So what is next?

We have had the RRR, the King Country and the Southern Coast rides. So where to next?

So who wants to sort out the next ride?

On my part Phreaky Phil (not that he knows this yet!!) and I will organise another ride in the Naki later in the year.

I'm kind of working on one out Pongaroa (northern Wairarapa). Lots of tracks (Makairo, Little Manuhara), awesome roads (Pori, Puketoi, Spur, Towai). Could also add some farm land, and maybe the odd coastal station track.

Winter's coming quick though, so may have to wait until later in the year.

Well I'm up for another ride up Naki way since I had to miss this one!

I have a sneaky suspicion the East Cape area may beckon us forth after the NI Invasion ride in the SI!

I'll say nothing more at this point!

    Cheers, Dave

    Thumbs up

I'm thinking of organising a cruisy BOP ride in early spring.

And probably a shorter option for the MMMMM. For people (like me) who are afraid of horrific weather forecasts

Meanwhile, no-one is allowed to organise anything interesting until after May 10th, when our bikes should be arriving back from Oz.
The road to hell is paved...

There has been a Cape to Cape ADV before, probably 10 years ago. It was a 2day ride. Sounds like a good idea.

what about an adventure pub crawl

Down Motu Rd to Matiwai Pub - have a beer

around Waikaremoana down to Minginui and through the forest to Rangataiki

    through the 42nd and Fishers

up to Taumaranui and down to the Whangamomona Pub for a beer.

A quick trip up to the Bridge to Nowhere and back

    A perfect weekend

yes but at least it would be a big triangle - you wouldn't be returning the way you came. And its only 5 or so hrs from Whanga to Welly so...

    on Friday ride to Opotiki.
on Sat do motu etc and stay Taumaranui Sat night
on Sun go to Whanga and do the track and ride home

    easy peasy
