Hey , I find it good to run at the front at times,
but it is also good to sit behind you guys on your smaller bikes.
I have had a few rides up here where I sat behind the little 250's and it was good to see you all pootling along at a good pace.
Yes the twisty bits are a bit scary at first, but you will get better at them with practice.
I dont mind following you on your little rides, and will even join you this comming summer, asI need to get one of thse 250's for myself.
I think they are great to play with, and also I need to do something about my licence ( about time says a few of you)
so Im saving my cash for a Yamaha 225 scorpion, should have one by Nov
Will be cheaper to fill up than my 1100, that will be a bonus

Exactly. This is why I'm saying no to offers now, and why I said in my original post "So I just wanted to see a show of hands and then we could perhaps arrange a ride for once a month or when the weather looks good?"

I only got the bike a week ago, and I've had work/rain in between but I intend to do this. A lot.

Alex technically doesn't have a bike right now because it's being fixed up. Which is why he's been on my bike a lot more than me!

I only started this post in response to something someone said. I guess Fiveliv was right about me posting this to CHCH Gals Groups for only the girls to see

Jo I am more than happy to ride with you. I know how you feel, u dont want to be holding everyone up while you try and figure out how to get round a corner without falling off!

Do a bit of riding round with maybe 1 or 2 others until you are comfortable. Dont be afaid to group ride though, often there are people that want to ride at the back and dont mind the pace. Those that do go faster.

PM or txt me if you want to ride sometime, am happy to sit with ya just for a tootle out to sumner or something! Same goes for you Kiwiphoenix when you step up!

hmmmm what about a Hyosung Aquila 250... nice little learners bike if you like a cruiser style. I know someone who MAY be selling one sometime.

GN is defo an easy bike to ride and very comfy. If you ever want a quick try let me know n I can let you have a ride on Ermintrude.

What have you found? The same old fears.
