I might go test ride the zuki's today, but riding Toto's big hornet i reaaaaally like it. insurance might not though

EDIT: Just got an email back from Honda Sure and insurance works out for the 900... Cheaper? what? full license rocks!

well, did some more test riding today:

Suzuki Gladius:
Awesome fun. Has the potential to sound like a true v-twin and is pretty light too. In the twisties it's good fun as you can flick through the gears and has enough power to keep you on your toes! is lacking in the braking/suspension departments though. still a great bike to have fun on!

Might consider getting one if the seat wasnt rock hard and it was in my price range! oh well.

Suzuki SV650S:
Bleh. I found the position awkward and uncomfortable, engine rather noisy and brakes/suspension pretty poor. i like the v-twin pull and grumble but the S just didnt suit me and they didnt have any N's available. rather disapointed.

While i was riding this a wasp flew down my shirt (stupid low bars

) and hitched a ride until i pulled over and let it out. no violence to either party. i took this as a sign from the almighty swarm that some hornet testing was required again.

Honda Hornet 900 (stock):

The main thing is that you got to test the bikes you wanted to test, the mainer thing is that you realised the SV650 is shit. :>

Looking forward to seeing you on the 919! Even stock it's great! I do love my Scorpion pipes though

8:30 AM meeting at bp botany. leaving 8:45 or if someone txtts me to wait for them 9am at the very latest.

Doing maraitai/kawakawa bay/ kaiaua.

the ride is to kaiaua and then you can follow the hornet master home and I shall probably continue on my way to meeting the bad boys.

6:30pm at auckland city library. Rain or shine I'll be there. all welcome. Leaving at 7pm
