Sorry I didn't get to the BBQ on sat, my bike was not running and had my Mum and Step-Dad over for tea.

Did not get to go out taking photos on Sunday either as was fairly late before got the bike running, turned out to be a faulty spark plug preventing it from starting.

Went to hop on the bike this mornign to take it to work and damn same thing happening again. Hopefully it gets fixed tonight though.

If fine weather this weekend might look at seeing who wants to go for a blat and take some cameras. Poss down to port, then along the top road back with plenty of stops for photos.

    Anyone else keen?

Did that 4 times this morning

Ty for the advise, will go home shortly and try and have a better look at it.

The stupid thing is that got it sorted yesterday, started it up, went fine. Did nothing else other than shift it forward to take some stuff out of the garage, then problems starting it this morning. Will find out soon I hope.

Check battery... and check that the connections are tight not just finger tight... loose connections from battery can cause so strange stuff to happen

Ty, looked at it again last night, replaced the spark plug and it's away.

So will look at getting the coil checked once I have a bit more money. And price up a replacement one.

I'm working til 3 tomorrow, my self, but hoping weather stays clear as I'm partial to the odd night ride as well and maybe finish up in the octagon or su'mit...

no not the wind, i had it parked in my mates drive, it's gravel and have parked there every time i visit, but i must of found a soft bit this time and the side stand just pushed thru the gravel until it coudnt hold the bike up anymore. but at least im not having to fix anything

a friend had his 916 fall over a while back and did around $700 damage
