Marching band be feked. If ya play ya cards right I'll get part of a noisy PIPE band!!!

I'll be dumb enough to be going, though I'll be heading to Ingill earlier on in the week and heading up from there, then a week long tiki tour home after that.

Excuse a probable stupid question but would it be worth while taking the battery out and keeping it in the tent to keep it warmer?

It will be the 29th Brass Monkey, not mine, only been 3 times, I love it, it is the essence of a motorcycle rally, massive fire, lots of motorbike talk, near misses in the ice, awesome

well... in the good old days (80's) the ground temp was -22 the lake was so frozen we used to ride the sidecars on it LOL, these days its mild as in comparasion... how ever having long got my 10 up badge I cant be buggered unless its a good forcast, but the weather usually turns the week before. There is a odd nostalga about the rally that draws you back... yip Im thinking about it we will see closer to the time
    cheers DD

Can never understand when it's a mild one, you hear people complaining "it's not cold enough'.This is no 9 in a row from Jaffaland. Can't wait to be able sit in the 10up tent eating my free apples watching the novices enter. Only thing Im dreading is the trip to the ferry and getting off it on the way back. Getting slower, going to spend 10 days across the ditch this year.
