    2009 eta Aquarid Meteor Shower TOMORROW MORNING (6 may)

    Forecasters expect the 2009 eta Aquarid shower to peak on Wednesday morning, May 6th, with as many as 85 meteors per hour over the southern hemisphere. Sky watchers in Australia, New Zealand, South America and southern Africa are favored.. The best time to look is during the moonless hour before local sunrise..

    Was this in the sky this morning? I was up 5.30 and saw a huge mass, to the right of the moon (North East?)

    It's pretty big, wondered what it was....

    Yes I guess a smack around Uranus would be appropriate.

    EDIT: Although probably more appropriate if instead of a meteor it was an ass-teroid. (Sorry Hitcher ... I know it's an 'arse' but an 'arse-teroid' just doesn't work.)
