If you lied, that's a different story.

If they are poms and sulk over the five hundy, you should maybe buy a mirror & lever with the dosh, give 'em back the change & receipt. Fuckyouverymuch, come again.

Anyways, are you just trying to outdo DMNTD in the ownership stakes, or what?.

I would say it is alredy sold unless it has been misadvertised.

if you can be fucked you could take the new owner to the disputes for the remaining purchase price.

If you cant then keep the deposit and carry on.

If I didnt have an unhealthy objection to zookis then I would be all over it.

    That's a fair price - that's all they're actually worth - it's certainly not cheap.

TradeMe (and the world) is full of unrealistic motherfuckers. Motherfuckers that think their bikes age like wine.

I've got cash burning a hole in my pocket and been trying to buy something but none of them want to make the effort to actually sell them.

It 100% depends how you phrased the receipt or in this case the internet conversation re the holding deposit.
When doing a holdie receipt for a car or a bike selling through the yard its clear cut The receipt says NON refundable deposit.
We do make it conditional to for example inspection or them getting finance but clear cut if they change thir mind there is no refund of deposit.
If your receipt doesnt say that or the bike wasn't as described then youre shit outa luck

Just remember, honesty does pay in the end.

However like Frosty mentioned it's all down the the terms you agreed on.

It has carbon cans too, and a nicer colour - is that a dent on the tank?
You'd think he'd at lest clean it before putting it on trademe?

Your bike is cheap for what it is - but in this market a bike is only worth what someone will pay for it
