Thanks all for the welcome, I think.

Like a new newbie, looks as though I will have to start from scratch in here on the forums - I know heads up, don't look down, look where you want to go.....and that's just the keyboard

In the meantime thanks for the green ones - you know who you are

    Heads Up and Enjoy

Guy! Good to see you back on the forums! Still much the same as it ever was.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

    Hello Bryce

I am downloading the pics from the camera this morning for you. They were actually pictures of the last Thursday Night ride, not Wednesday. If memory serves me correct that last Wedneday ride went up over the Paekakariki Hill. The pictures I have are at the top of the Rimutaka Hill.

Pictures will be posted over in the Thursday Night thread:

Good to see you back Guy.

    Don't be a stranger.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Heads Up and Enjoy

The past few weeks I have enjoyed putting my blogg together, extracting from the 2006-08 Newbie Training Update.

Thanks for the 'welcome back' comments.

Today I received this video link 'international' song and wanted to share.

    Here is the link:

Hello BuckBuck, glad to see you back.

When I'm out riding in the rain, in the dark and/or getting cold, I still say to myself "head up and enjoy!" and it makes a challenging ride much easier. Thanks for your great advice for newbie rieders. Long may it continue.
