Sam im a sparky too and our company is down to limited hours 6/7 per day and I think its across the country. The home renevations are almost non existant.maybe try electrical wholesalers in lighting design(comercial)until the industry picks up again. If you were apprentice your ex boss should have tried to find relocation to another company as part of your contract is to provide the training you require to complete your apprenticeship.may want to get some advice about that from ICANZ or ETCO.Im sure they would try sort you out with something.Garage 19 if your floating around and weather gets spazy.Could be some wheel swaps going on.Postie number 89.No need to bring tools. Its an oily bugger though.
Good luck with search.Perhaps some notices on the wholesalers smoako rooms may land you some work.We have employed from them before.Shows you keen anyway to companies seeking staff.

Bad news Sam , best of luck looking for another job. Spoke to a sparky boss here yesterday and he has a heap of work on . Hes just hired a chick to ring around and get him appointments to submit for maintenace contracts and hes just got 2 retirment complexes and 2 colleges. It pays to get out in the market huh.
