We can all read the factory specs but i wana know how fast YOU have had your bikes... And for arguments sake, we will assume we're all talking about riding on the track...

270 on an old CBR is waaay out...

my 03 RR down a long hill would only hit 262, and that was with some performance goodies.

My TL with a speedohealer got to 260.
My FZ6 Naked with a speedohealer only upto 215.
My RVF400 was 172 when restricted (radar reading )

Now, my speedo said 270ish, yes i think we all agree, speedos arent reliably accurate, and i probably wasnt going near that fast, but when someone asks "how fast were you goin"? you will say what your speedo said... Theres no point debating discrepensies/inaccuracies and shit everytime. Next time ill just say, "redlining 6th with standard gearing". And if i ever saw 300kmh indicated on a hayabusa or similar, i would take that as 300 club bragging rights. Especially if u got it on tank cam...
You wont see 300 on my busa, it goes to 280 then the 300 mark is left bare.
Had it up to 265 at puke, just out of 4th and into 5th, but im too sensible (chickensh*t) to take it any faster.
    My ZZR250 did 160 at redline in 5th, and 160 in 6th.
As for speedo accuracy, the busa's are supposed to be terrible.
Have ridden past cops at 120 and they haven't batted an eyelid.
They said i have so much ass crack that i could be a dealer

Fattie Bandit and all of her aerodynamical lustre, managed to crack 155~ once.

Had to give the girl a bath after that, felt guilty

After losing my licence for six months, I have seen the light and fitted a 62mph speed limiter to my motorcycle.

I usta see 330 kmph on the 12's speedo fairly regularly(just shy of redline in top), which was around 307 if the calcs add up....it wasn't stock though....
I also had it over 250kmph on the rear wheel....not sure how many deaths that counts for....
