What will your next bike be?

According to the poll on the KR site - over 30% will go dual sport or adventure bike next.

Poll is on the front page.

    Adv bike riders:
I'd appreciate some input on the blog page too - If KTM or BMW or other ADV owners would care to leave a summary of their ADV bikes as comments:
    http://kiwiridermagazine.blogspot.co...ing-advds.html

or post on here and I'll paste 'em in.

defiantly something that can handle the gravel and mud better than the RR. Had a ball on the 640 Adventure I rode in Europe and would be a little better suited to come of the goat tracks that pass as roads in this country.

I'll have to buy something fat and cruiserish to be different then.

    Woe is me - not.

Next bike ................ sooo way down the $ priority list that I can't even think of one.

Dual thingy - at the risk of being call 'gay' half the appeal of a bike to me is physical - if it does not look right I'll not purchase it (F-off you lot ready to bag my current ride )

So as far as dual purpose goes the Triumph Scrambler 'looks' like a proper motorcycle to me - drop in some Thunderbike cams and pipes and I'd be happy.

Or a stripped down cruiser thingy.

    Street/Speed triple......... yum

It doesn't take much. A few million dollars and unlimited power and I'd be cool.

Yeah I'm happy. Co-pilot has been visiting the kids in Hobart and I've been livin' la vida sofa and doing that stuff that married men rarely get a chance to do in SMQ. Like tinned spaghetti on toast for 2 meals in the same day. Choice.

Edit: And thanks for the comments - just came through. You are the first person to comment on the Kiwi Rider blogsite. Chairs!

I can't choose between a few bikes, till I actually ride them.
Any of the 4-5 600cc IL4's, 1125c/r or if I'm really ballsy, a ZX14 cause they so sexy
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.
