I'm not sure if they sell those parts separately.

It would be interesting to see that Katana with export engine since all over liter bikes been restricted to 100bph in Japan(until last year sometime).
The GSX1400 only makes just on 106hp anyway so it's probably not vastly restricted. That's damned cool, I suppose in a few years time you'll see a few running around in NZ as imports.

So this guy draw that Katana and he is professional motorcycle designer?
    Sounds promising ^^
Hans Muth didn't design the 1000/1100 Katana. The company he used to work for did, after he'd left, using his drawings as a template. They actual deviates from the concept a lot. Jan Fellstrom should own the Father of Katana tag.

Oh really? Then I guess it's understandable he designed bike like this...

Yes really. Muth worked on the 650 and that's where his direct involvement ended.

I may be a touch biased here, but the classic 650... best bike ever.

But at least it's an improvement on the Teapot and the AY50.

    Proper Italian Translation:

The response by SUZUKI to the new streetfighters and supernakeds will be very, very, "Innovative"! It seems in fact that it is going to arrive on the market (presumablly in a 2010) a powerful, new and deadly SUPERKATANA 1000. Based on the very potent GSX R 1000 K9, this new machine will not suffer any paralization in regards to power.

More so a real Superbike without fairing. The asthetics however will be very stylish and sophisticated, wanting to recall the shape more that has left its mark in the field of the motorcycle design like the previous KATANA did.

SUZUKI wants to project brand pressance but also at the level of image it expects of its identity (in truth lately the line has become blurred) and therefore a decidedly provocative model as the SUPERKATANA is exactly what it needs.

The google one was OK but a bit dodgy.

You're not wrong! Though it was the least dodgy one I could find quickly.
Your translation sounds more like the Itali-glish you'd get from the salesman on the Suzuki stand at the Milan show (and therefore much better!)

Where were you when we needed you earlier??
