    Angry

I hope all you guys have fun, I really am annoyed that I can't go due to work, it would've been my first Brass Monkey, and since I only started doing rally's last year, with the pissed penguin being my first, I have not missed one rally weekend until now.

    Thumbs up

My cousin has just text me he has crossed a very calm Cook Strait & is heading south to meet up with me later 2day. Have just purchased an Oxford Balaclava to help keep warm & are packing in readiness for B.M. Looking forward to what promises to be a cold challenge. Ride safe guys.

Starting to blow its tits off here in Riviera of the South so roads should be dry in the south.

Winds has dropped down here - but so is the rain!!

Intermittent showers and darkening clouds heading up from the south.

I went down for the ride but decided my camping gear wasn't up to the challenge. Got the badge then shot back to Christchurch yesterday. Awesome ride. Weather not too good today. Safe ride home everyone.

    I survived

Picked up my 20 year badge at the gate, n headed straight for the VIP tent! 10 year n up members get free Tui, and bangers at the Orange Tui tent. Thats a good start to the night.
It turned into a very warm & pleasant afternoon & evening. A classic Central Otago winters day.
I followed Goblin & Doc's instructions to find KB camp along the fenceline but gave up in disgust. Finally met Shrek who led me correctly to the furtherest away group of tents (allow 20mins walk!) overlooking the lake, where we had our own fire & stack of wood.
A great night was had, with 2 "friends" getting completely blithery, & incoherant. I will not mention names BUT if $ were to pass my way etc, LOL. FJRrider had been having lessons from Nighthawk with regard to piccy taking, IN YA FACE! so as the Elder of our group I had to take him aside & point out the personal space rule!
A skiff of snow on the Vegas this morning but nothing more came of it.
Outbakal & I rode back thru Alexandra to Dunedin & had a relatively dry run home.
C ya all @ Pissed Penguin in Sept.
