There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
Thought I'd put some pics up from my gallery.

Slightly out of order - the descent down the Porika Track, the Big River Mine Head, The site of Mrs Jatz's tank resculpture on the New Creek track, Eddie going towards St Arnaud.
Now roll credits...
Finally a big thanks to Marks for organising the trip, Michael for organising the ferry tickets, Junkman Joe for accomodation scouting (the Reeton Cabins were no where as bleak as Marks tried to point out - positively comfy), and the South Island crew for your company.
Yup. I would have no hesitations staying at the Reefton Holiday Park Cabins again.
Heater, sink, fridge, 5 beds, no worries.

And in true Woodman & Paladin tradition i super-glued the rear indicator bits back on the DR, thx to Buggs who sensibly had a tube of super-glue with him! Bit of electrical tape to keep the lens on and good to go! I now have a tube of said glue as standard equipment in my tool bag!
