    Dicks.
Quite. Additionally, I would have thought any group that uses your peer group for target practice should also come under scrutiny...

The Laws have always been there to deal with the Twat ricers, Its just all our Judges have been turned into LIMP WRIST LEFT WING LIBERAL PANZIES, and have failed to hand down tougher sentences, For farks sake who lets a kid rack up $ 12k of fines or more, and still lets the little wanker have a licence, would it not be smarter to say 12 months loss of licence or fines paid off in full and wich ever is the latter, and the licence is not returned untill the fine is paid in full. If the fuckers can afford to pay $30k for a car then another $20k for mods they can afford to pay their fines in FULL, before being allowed to own another car or drive one.
I see car crushing becoming very unpopular and not to long after the first dozen or so cars get crushed, as that law can be applied to any of us and who gets to decide when a vechicle gets crushed, and do you get to appeal if you get caught by an over zelous Copper, thats still wet behind the ears from Copper School.
What also should happen is those with larger fines to pay back to the courts, say 2k and over should have a stop put on any finance they get untill their fines are reduced to under 2k, they can still pay off exsiting finance but cant rack up any new finance.

Hey another thought here, crushing the car syndrome.
    1)-The cars worth maybe $4500.
    2)-The wheels worth $2500.
    3)-The lowered springs $1000.
    4)The sounds $2000.
    5)The sports system $1500.
All adds up to a lot of crushed H/P's ha friggin ha boys.
They forget that yep can buy a car with dodgy credit(after car taken with $ owing to finance co.)but pay higher interest if they can get finance, but they can't get finance for the wheels, sounds etc, bliss eh.

Yes I have had the odd momentary loss of traction in the car,but when noone else around, going in straight line, and not having to put oil or diesel on road, falcon has enough grunt, and tyres were down to 2 or 3mm on rears,so were to be changed. But if I got caught then I would pay the fine,it's what responsible people do,at least I can't get stopped at customs for outstanding fines.

Also this law will only be enforced after 3 times apparently,so assumnig these guys can count, then after 2 tickets they should lay low till the 2 years are up.Much like demerits at the moment. But also the cops will know the vehicles involved, and they can see if plates are changed etc, incase the boys think new plates will help, maybe but the car paintjob, exhaust, sounds will still be the same.

Not to be confused with boys or men driving classic type cars, the commy SS or coon XR8,cobra replicas, stangs, comaros etc,car club guys are not part of the racer crowd.

If you want to have an issue with diesel, have an issue with that first. Ricers don't leave 20km trails of the shit everywhere they go.

Speaking of shit, how about overflowing effluent tanks on stock trucks? Another scourge.
I hope they crush NZTA for letting the tar flushing get as bad as it is

Most of the tickets are handed to them for not driving to conditions of learners or restricted drivers licence at $400 a pop + 25 demerits. (They seem to think that once they get that little plastic rectangle in their sticky little hands that the rules don't count any more) - or because their p.o.s. twatbox has no W.O.F. or rego, both worth $200 each.

So they drive around the countryside getting tickets for breach of licence conditions, no WOF or rego = $800 a time from this cop and that cop from all over.

And the way they drive it's not hard to get pulled over 10 or 15 times a year (or for some rocket-brains, even more) so it's no effort to end up with $8,000 worth of tickets and if they lie/move house etc the demerits can take a while to catch up with them.
In a smaller town where they stand out it's 3 x breach of licence tickets then straight to Court to be disqualified.

Oh, and they mostly CAN'T afford to pay $30,000 for their car, somewhere between $8,000 to $18,000 tops for most of them - and even then they get repo'd regularly.

(Hell, nil deposit, walk in-drive off makes it waay too easy for them to get a car - bring in 2/3 deposit and mandatory third part insurance (run privately of course) and that would sharpen the little turds up a bit)

This issue has got everything to do with lack of parental and school control of kids. How many of these disorderly and vandalistic hoons would have adopted a better outlook on life if a few well meaning slaps had been applied many years ago?

The problem is that those undisciplined kids are now playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the authorities in order to find the limits on their behaviour that weren't set when they should have been. This is what you get for allowing the state to run your lives.

That is what I have said for a while now.
When I was a lad you had to have 2/3 deposit for bike or car.
And pay cash for mag's etc.
None of this dollar down and a dollar a week shit.
It would slow then down and if they lose their car they would feel it more.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

    Use it.
If that is the guts of your previous posts, I totally agree with you but you had it obscured by all that other emotional verbage.

Why are the police etc so reluctant to use the exsisting legislation?

    Well, IMHO.

Because "lawyers" play their silly games defending the indefensible and make an ass of our whole society.

Judges, who were all once "lawyers", perpetuate their silly game and we the taxpayers (victims) finance the whole ridiculous situation!

Incidently, these boy wankers (i mean racers) are not to be confused with genuine car enthusiasts who take pride in their ride and don't have the attitude problem.
Precisely - they couldn't have picked better morons to illustrate what boy racers are really like. The lead moron looked like a fucking hobbit and their behaviour made me so wild I wanted to kill them! What he doesn't seem to realise is that his future employers (big hero, currently studying, so he's NOT paying taxes) may be watching this footage and won't touch him with a bargepole.

I think he said something about the boy racers putting a lot back into the community - in what ways, you fuckwit?

We belong to a couple of car clubs and one regularly takes part in Friday night cruises - will WE be penalised, targeted, etc by the cops? We may drive cars with V8 engines or flash paint jobs, but we have nothing in common with boy racers.

I knew they were causing problems but I hadn't realised quite how bad it had got. As for that tosser tipping oil or whatever on the road, he needs an arse kicking too. The lead moron said anyone driving in a straight line and hitting the oil in the wet won't have an accident. Oh yeah? What about if they pulled out to overtake? Or the oil pooled somewhere? He very carefully avoids becoming involved himself, he just organises it. He's just as bad as the rest of them and he needs to wake up to himself.

I'm so glad I don't live anywhere near the little shit bags as I would be so tempted to shoot them!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

What they showed on telly were not what I'd call boy racers, they were just drunkin dickheads, most of the cars were just cheap piles of shit.
I totally get younger people tricking their cars out, alot of us do the same with our bikes, these idiots were just a mob of delinquints.

Would the govt be better off banning open alcohol in cars? Most of the segment last night showed all the passengers holding their piss bottles out like trophies......................dunno, just a thought.

Yup, as in the States - no open liquor containers in the car.

Isn't that already the case? It should be. Not that those fuckwits would comply...
Mind you, I guess it's very hard to enforce when they gather en masse, but will 'behave' when on their own.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
