I wouldn't have though that to be the case.

True enough - but, I'm not an AMCC office bearer so I'm reluctant to make postings on their behalf

Yeah they're not the best at advertising their events. This last round was added at late notice from what I understand and you'd probably only hear about it if you're an AMCC member. In saying that, it is on the KB calendar.

I know what happened to Sam at Pukekohe and i'm glad he was able to ride and win the race and I'm sure someone must have checked him out after the bang to the head he took.
As someone who has not long gotten over a brain injury, I'd be concerned that the rule simply states "Where a concussion has occurred, an automatic stand down period of 21 days shall apply". It doesn't say that if you were assessed at the track then it's okay, or if you get a clearance from a GP or a neuro then it's okay. I mean, each to their own, and someone must have made a decision about Sam, but is it 'really' worth the risk?

I'm having to wait 12 months after my surgery before being able to race again.

I was at Pukekohe on the weekend, and I wanted to know if anyone knows if the guy that came off on the bend just before the finish line is ok. My first experience of a accident and it wasn't very nice.
