    Diahorrea is better.
When you are constipated you take laxatives to give you the runs, because it's better.

    I'm still holding onto constipation.

However, I'd rather shit a piss than piss a shit!

From a medical point of view one can get constipation WITH "overflow" so.. the worst of both worlds. Nothings ever as simple as it seems!

Is the "overflow" strictly faeces though? Could be a secreted mucusy lubricant - produced to aid in moving the aforementioned shite brick

I had giardia once ... think 'explosive diarrhoeah' for about 4 weeks. My record was 7 trips to the toilet in a 28 minute period one lunchtime. Most amazing farts and you end up roughcasting the toilet bowl each time (it was hell really) Anyhoo ... I was about 3 weeks into it when I had a family event to attend and needed some 'security' in the pants department so the doctor prescribed me some some stuff that he said would block me up for about 36 hours. True enough ... and it was bliss. Trouble is that it wasn't fixing the problem, just preventing an outpouring. On the second day I could feel myself getting tighter and tighter and it got really uncomfortable. When I finally popped the cork later on that day morning ... well if you could have put a small turbine and generator up my bum I reckon you could have satisfied a small town's electricity requirments for the duration. For those of you who have seen 'Dumb & Dumber' ... it was quite similar to the toilet scene in the movie.
The point to my story is that the shits that were 'hell' for 3 weeks were 'bliss' after a day and a half spent building up pressure ... and the stoppage that was 'bliss' after 3 weeks of extreme shits was 'hell' just 36 hours later... so I can't answer this poll. I reckon it's a matter of perspective at the time.

I think though that I'd rather have the shits. At least you can get a laugh out of them.

The runs for sure - less painful and better for my haemorroids too.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
