Was a good ride.. The more seat time I get the better I think.. First night ride really and defiantly my first group ride even tho I was no where near the group hehe![]()
I should be there next week.. Im not sure about thani tho Think she caught a cold or something and I think she out of HTFU pills
I had a good time cheers to those involved!
Ladies, if a man says he will fix something, he will fix it. You don't need to keep reminding him every 6 months
I'm fine, I just kept it wound back to <110km/h on the return trip.I suspect I'll have to make this a regular event on Thursday nights! Much fun to be had, meeting new people is always good too.
Lula - keep practising.I managed a couple of small ones behind you! Pity no-one was close.
Thanks Gwinch - already starting my burnout training. Need plenty of practice alright that was a lame effort last night!
Now you'll have to come to the Cold Kiwi and see me do some real burnouts on Lula and geestrings new Rat Bike.
Here is my vid of me doing one at Cold Kiwi. Check out my wrist action!!

Let me know how you get along with that one. I expect to see the rear wheel spinning next week.Easier on cold tyres, though! Ours had already been given a fair workout prior to our efforts.
Got more than a few people twisting my arm into going so I may just have to and see what all the fuss is about. The hill climb looks like a right hoot and a half! As do the on foot events, I'll be sure to participate in those as I do enjoy my running and any shenanigans that involve it! *shudders in anticipation*
Yes, thanks all. I definately need to stop sissying out in the final seconds of entering a corner and hitting the picks! It was only 2 months yesterday since I got my licence and bike though so I apologise to anyone I pulled this stunt in front of! I'm sure my headlights could be better too . . .
I'm working night shift for the next 2 Thursdays but if the group wants to try a different route and head out Waiuku way so I can get to work before 7 then I'll still see you at 6 at AutoBahn. . .

Assuming of course we leave on time.I wouldn't worry altogether that much about technique, you're doing well considering how long you've been riding. If you really want to get tips on how to ride, have one of the more knowledgeable riders follow you or hit up on of the site mentors. Can give you their names if you're interested.
Cheers, was a good ride, even though I froze on the way home.
You didnt have to ride after you got homeapparently the temp was around -3 last night, so add on the windchill and you can understand why I was cold. Didnt have 4 layers of pants like you...
puddy, I'm far too modest to ask! NOT @#$%^, good night then?
Every day above ground is a good day!:
