1.30 will be great. I may need a hand to pick the bike back up off me...
Meet at Sharlands carpark down bottom. 1st carpark closest the road so we are all in same place aye?
will bring GPS

Sweet.
Might even put the tyre pressures back down, she was a bit sketchy playing Tag earlier today at road pressures.

I'm out........Daughters school ball and I'm the chaufer, gotta clean the truck I borrowed
Had an awesome ride today with Nordie, WW & paul. Did some gnarly climbs &descents - lots of fun. PAul & WW sure can ride - pity tho one of the KTMs couldn't keep it's front wheel on the ground - must have had weight differential problems.
The Dr & KLR kept those Austrians honest with some clever chugging up the step bits. I had to cut it short when my foot peg dropped off. Had a cruise back down the road getting a few odd looks from hardcore MX rats.
My kind of riding![]()
Ya did the KLR proud.
We found some more steeeeep tracks, revisited some scenic tracks I hadn't done for a while, and discovered a sh!tload more stuff to explore, eventually popping out back at Thomas Rd.
Plenty of hills to be conquered still. I wanna have another good crack at that steep bit at the bottom of the sun-in-your-eyes track; it will need momentum 'cos there's eff-all traction to be had for an adventure bike![]()

Could be worse, if it had syphilis then important things would drop off...

Hey thats a bit hard Nordie.
The footpegs must have been loose since Reefton as there has been a strnge noise I couldn't work out. Given the big drops it took & having to slide it across the rocks to get it in position I have to say that there's no damage to it. So much for it having "too many plastic bits to break".
I omitted to add that Nordie too can ride his beast. Pisses me off tho that he doesn't drop it.
May have to have another go next wekend. I love it that theres awesome riding 5 mins from home![]()
Warewolf dropped his though![]()
Nice bashplate Colin![]()
