Full respect to that dog, umm is it training or for real, that looks like security cam footage and the alleged offender did not look padded up.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

There's a couple of 'puffs' just prior to the dog jumping so I'm picking it's for real.

The guy looks pretty padded to me (could just be fat) and could possibly be blanks? Training the dog to ignore gunshots?

Padding or not, stuff being that guy, that dog was flying for a second there...

The yank cops have been trialling high jumping attack deer instead of dogs to stop the bad guys, with limited success.

    Oh bugger

That happened to me a few months ago in woodhill forest. Bloody deer came flying across the trail about 5 metres in front of me at head height as I was rippin through the wood chopper trail.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
